The Persistent Widow
![]()
Jesus told us:
There was a judge in a town.
He didn't love God.
He didn't respect people.
There was a widow in the town.
She would come to him often always asking the same thing, "Please give a fair ruling for me against my adversary."
The judge refused to give a ruling.
She would always come back asking the same question time and time again.
The judge always refused to give a ruling.
One day the judge thought to himself," I don't respect people but because this widow keeps bothering me, I will make a fair ruling for her so she wont bother me anymore."
Jesus says, "Did you hear what the judge said? If he doesn't even respect people but will give a fair ruling, don't you think God will answer His children who call out to him? Do you think God will be slow to answer? God will see to it that justice is done quickly."

What do you think?
Are you like the persistent widow?
Do you think God will not answer your prayers?
Do you think God will be slow in giving us justice?
Write
and tell me BUT ask your parents first
