The Farmer and His Seeds
![]()
Jesus told a story:
Jesus said," A farmer went out to plant a field.
The farmer scattered some seeds on the ground.
Some seeds fell on the hard ground.
The birds came and ate the seeds.
Some seeds fell on rocky ground.
The plants grew, but couldn't get water, so they died.
Some seeds landed among weeds.
The weeds grew and soon choked out the good seeds.
Some of the seeds fell on good soil.
The seeds grew into strong healthy plants and produced much fruit.
The apostles asked Jesus, "What does that story mean?"
Jesus said to them, "The seeds are the word of God.
The ones that are along the path that the birds ate,
these are the people that have heard the word of God
and do not believe.
The ones on the rocks are those that believe for a while but fall away.
The ones on the thorns are those who allow the desire
for
money and fun things to get in the way.
As for the good soil,
those are the people that hear the Word of God and hold
onto it"

What do you think?
Where did your seeds fall?
Write to me BUT ask your parents first
