When Jesus used the word "master", he was talking about the one that had absolute authority over our lives.
Jesus made this one so clear.  You cannot serve two masters.
You must choose one.
Do you serve money?  Is money your master?
                          or
Do you serve God?  Is God your master?

Jesus did not tell us which to choose.  He left that choice to us.  We must choose wisely.
Do you want money to have authority over you?  Will you get love and respect from money?  No, you wont.
Do you want God to have authority over you?  Will you get love and respect from God?  Yes, you will.  Plus a whole lot more.
Choose wisely.  Make Jesus happy
