I loved God.
I worshipped him daily.
God was good to me.
He gave me riches.
He gave me a loving family.
Satan told God one day that if all my blessings were taken away, I wouldn't love him anymore.
God told Satan to try and see for himself.
Satan did awful things to me.
He gave me painful boils.
He caused my land to wither away.
He caused my livestock to die.
I lost everything including my children.
I still loved God.
I still worshipped God.
God removed all my plagues and restored my riches.
God loved me too.

I am a tax collector
I am very rich.
I sometimes would charge the people extra taxes and keep it for myself.
I heard that Jesus was coming and wanted to see him.
I am very short.
I couldn't see over everyone else.
I had an idea.
I climbed a sycamore tree to see Jesus.
Here comes Jesus.
He walked under the tree and stopped.
He told me to climb down.
"I want to eat dinner at your house," Jesus said.
That made me very happy.
I promised Jesus I would never cheat again.

I disobeyed God.

I chose to try and hide from God.
I was trying to escape
I got on a ship.
I was in the bottom of the ship trying to hide from God.
There was a horrible storm.
I knew the storm was because I had disobeyed God.
I told the men on the ship to throw me overboard.
They did throw me over the side of the ship.
The seas became quiet the moment they did.

I was born a Hebrew.
When I was three months old, my mother put me in a basket to save my life and the basket floated down the Nile.
The Pharaoh's daughter found me and I lived with her.
I was an important man in Egypt.
I was well educated.
I was respected.
One time I hurt an Egyptian.
I was afraid the Pharaoh would find out what I had done so I ran away.
I ended up in Midian.
There is where I married and had my first son.
One day as I was tending my sheep, I saw a burning bush.
I went to see the bush.
There is where the Lord spoke to me.
The Lord asked me to take the Hebrews out of Egypt

When I was born, people would come to see me in the manger.
Three wise men came bringing gifts to me.
When I was twelve, my parents couldn't find me for three days.
They finally found me in the temple
When I was thirty, I began teaching.
I taught people that Our Father in heaven loves us.
I taught people that they could get to heaven if they follow my teachings.

I hated the Christians.
I tried to get them in trouble.
I was on my way to Jerusalem for a letter saying that every Christian had to be put in jail.
I was near Damascus with others in my group, when there was suddenly a very bright light.
The light was so bright and seemed to surround me.
I heard a voice.
The voice called my name, saying, "Why are you persecuting me?"
I didn't recognize the voice.
"Who is speaking?" I asked.
The voice answered, "I am Jesus. Now get up and go to Damascus and wait for Ananius "
Everyone with me heard the voice too.
We were all amazed at what had just happened.
Then suddenly, I realized that I was blind.
My friends helped me to Damascus.
I was blind for three days when Ananius arrived.
He prayed for me and suddenly, I could see again.
I stayed in Damascus and became friends with the Christians.
I learned from them about Jesus.
Before long, I too was teaching others about Jesus.
