Love Song

When problems seem too much to bear
and you know worry and despair-
be like a reed; rise up, stand tall.

When dreams are lost and can't be found
and bitterness is all around,
don't be afraid; stand straight and tall.

A startled deer may flinch and dash
from lightning's flash and thunder's crash;
though trees may fall, you can stand tall.

No storm lasts for eternity.
Trust conquers insecurity.
Shout with the wind, I can stand tall.

The songs of birds announce the death
of winter's wrath in spring's soft breath.
   In faith is strength: Keep faith; stand tall.

Look for God here, not far above.
In His embrace is lasting love.
Love conquers all. Trust God. Stand tall.
