The First People
Adam and Eve

God made a special place for Adam to live.

Adam lived in Eden.

It was a beautiful garden.

It had cool water.

Lots of food.

Lots of animals roamed free.

Eden had beautiful flowers.

Eden had green grass.

God said, "It isn't right that Adam be alone with no helper."

So God made Eve.

Eve was the first woman.

They went swimming in the water.

They played with the animals.

They tended to the flowers.

Their life was good.

Adam and Eve were very happy in the Garden of Eden.
