Dear Lord,
Help me to grow straight and tall,
Help me to learn, and to play ball.
But the most important of them all,
teach me Dear Lord, to love one and all.

Good night Lord and thank you once more,
for the flowers and birds and the lions that roar.
Hold me close, oh so tight,
so I can sleep till the morning light.

Now I lay me down to sleep.
I pray Thee, Lord, my soul to keep.
Your love be with me through the night
And wake me with the morning light.
 

Lord, keep us safe this night,
Secure from all our fears.
May angels guard us while we sleep,
Till morning light appears.
 

Faher, we thank You for the night,
And for the pleasant morning light,
For rest and food and loving care,
And all that makes the day so fair.
Help us to do the things we should,
To be to others kind and good;
In all we do and all we say,
To grow more loving every day

To know you more clearly,
To love you more dearly,
To follow you more nearly,
